Prepare for Winter

Before you know it, winter will be upon us. Here are some tips to keep you and your family safe:

1. Have your fireplace cleaned and inspected.
2. Stack your firewood in a dry spot, or let the wood dry before use.
3. Make sure your space heater has an automatic shut-off and 3 feet of clearance all around it.
4. Change the filters in your heating units or air systems.
5. Change the bulbs in your outside lights.
